Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. Her birth date was on December 13th 1989. Her discography spans many genres. Swift's songwriting is often influenced by her personal life and was praised by critics. Swift was born in West Reading, Pennsylvania and moved to Nashville when she was 14. Swift signed an agreement for songwriting and recording with Sony/ATV Music Publishing. The self-titled debut album she released in 2006 was the first female country artist to write a U.S. platinum-certified album. Swift's next album, Fearless (2008) was about country pop. Speak Now (2010) was her second. The first two country songs that reached the top of U.S. airplay charts included "Love Story" and "You Are My Friend". Red (2012) featured her first Billboard Hot 100 hit, "We are Never Ever Getting Back Together". 1989 (2014) saw her abandon her country image. It was supported by the chart-topping "Shake It On", "Blank Space",and "Bad Blood". Media scrutiny inspired the urban-flavored Reputation (2017) and its number-one single "Look at What You Made Me Do". Swift left Big Machine and signed with Republic Records in 2018. In the year 2018, Swift released Lover (2019) which was her seventh studio album. She was followed by Miss Americana (2020), which is an autobiographical documentary. In her 2020 albums Folklore and Red, Swift delved into alternative and indie rock. The singles "Cardigan", "Willow" as well as "Willow," topped the Hot 100. Swift began rerecording six of her albums following a dispute about their masters. In 2021, Swift released two albums: Fearless (Taylor’s) and Red. "All Too Well (10 minute version)" was the longest track to make it to the top of the Hot 100. Records for streaming all time were established by Swift's 2022 album Midnights and its single "Anti-Hero."
