Amanda Blake

Amanda Blake (born Beverly Louise Neill) was a well-known American actor. Most famously, she was known for her role as Kitty Russell in the television series. Kitty Russell in the TV series Gunsmoke. In addition the actress was also known for acting in the television series such as 'The Red Skelton Show', "Tattletales" and "The Edge of Night'. She also appeared in numerous other movies including Stars In My Crown, Duchess of Idaho,?Cattle Town Crusoe,?"About Mrs. Leslie",?The Adventures of Hajjibaba,??High Society?? and???The Boost? What?. Blake is a former phone operator and animal lover, loved animals. Together together with Frank Gilbert, she was the first person to breed cheetahs successfully in the wild. She was one of co-founders along with Frank Gilbert, her husband of Arizona Animal Welfare League. Blake was a former director of the Humane Society of the United States. Blake has received many honours which include being inducted into Hall of Great Western Performers of National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.
