Kari Sam Wuhrer was born on 28th April 1968 is an American Actress and Singer. Wuhrer began her acting career as a teenager. Her most well-known role was as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as for her role as Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. She has 3 siblings. As a teenager, she was a singer who was a regular in the clubs, escaping from the family in order to do so. The actress studied acting since her 13th birthday at Wooster School, then studied acting at the NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts along with renowned teacher Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer, a model from Connecticut is an American actor, model and singer. Kari started acting in the Wooster school aged 13 before going further to pursue a degree in drama at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College as well the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under renowned Uta Hagen. Kari began her journey into acting at 13 years old, and received her breakthrough in 1987 on MTV Remote Control.
