Kelly Clarkson is an American singer and songwriter who became the nation's sweetheart when she won the American Idol title in the premiere season. It was not just a major success, but it earned the singer a contract to record multiple albums from RCA Records 19 Recordings & "S Records. Since her debut in the series, she has released a number of albums. From those, three made it to the top of the US Billboard 200. The others were close to reaching the top position. Her name is among the most successful artists to come out of her participation in the American Idol series. She began to experiment with music and themes when her popularity was growing. With her distinct voice and unique ability, she was awarded high praise and numerous awards. Grammy Award Grammy Award is her most famous prize. Apart from her singing profession, she has also had a stint in TV and film. She has also written the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been a part of numerous charities.
