Sheryl Underwood was born and raised in Arkansas and grew up there. She became a TV host for the daytime talkshow The Talk. Sheryl Underwood, born in Arkansas was raised in Arkansas between Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised in a difficult family. She spent most her childhood looking after her sibling Frankie. Frankie was a victim of polio. When she was growing up she had numerous arguments with her mum. Sheryl claims that in an instance when her mother stabbed her father after he became close to Her. Sheryl joined military after graduating from university. Her interest was in comedy. She was selected as the first woman to be a finalist in the Miller Lite Comedy Search, held in 1989. She began her TV work in 1992 by having a frequent appearance as a comedian on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She hosted the television show Oh Drama! in 2000. The show has also featured her as host on The Talk since 2011. In addition, she has a fictional role in shows like Bulworth Nikki, Bulworth or Beauty Shop.
